When you think of a heart attack, you think of chest pain radiating down your left arm... is that how it feels to you?
But far from it!
This may be true for men, but for women, the symptoms for a heart attack are often much more non-specific. Women need to listen to their bodies much better!
They usually "only" complain of pressure in the chest and may also suffer from the following symptoms, which are just not directly associated with a heart attack:
-> Shortness of breath
-> Back pain
-> Nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting
-> fatigue and listlessness
The risk of thinking of a disease of the stomach or similar with this kind of symptoms is high and also doctors fall into this trap again and again.
That's why: Listen to your body and get a thorough check-up if something seems strange to you!
