Cycling is a sport for young and old! You usually start at a young age and even in old age you can still get on the bike well.
But why is that? There are many good reasons:

-> it trains different muscle groups The leg muscles are stressed by pedaling, trunk and shoulder/neck muscles have to hold the body.
