The right sport for obesity

Sports are usually a challenge for overweight people, but they are easy to master.

People with excess weight in particular are often not particularly active. The fullness of the body makes any kind of movement difficult. You have become accustomed to the comfortable life over the years and to break out of habitual patterns is usually very difficult - but not impossible!  

You should choose sports that are easy on the joints and do not put too much strain on the cardiovascular system:  

-> Cycling  

-> Swimming  

-> Walking

General recommendations for a minimum of exercise include: Two exercise sessions a week, preferably not on consecutive days. Each exercise session should last at least 30 minutes.  

In addition, you should make sure to increase your amount of exercise in everyday life as well, by using stairs instead of taking the elevator or walking more often instead of taking the car.

And if you want, you can set yourself a daily step goal against your inner pig, for example. This goal can then be checked with a pedometer or an app on your cell phone.
