Pain-free at the workplace - this is how the monitor is positioned correctly!

If the screen is set too high or too low, this leads to incorrect and excessive strain on the cervical spine. Headaches and neck pain can be the result.

Position of the monitor on the desk
The monitor should be in the central field of vision so that you look straight ahead at your monitor without rotating your head.
If you are working with multiple monitors, position the main monitor straight ahead. Position additional monitors close to the main monitor with a slight sideways tilt.

‍Monitor height
‍Select
the height of the monitor so that you can look over the top edge without having to lift your head.

‍Alignmentin the room
‍The
positioning of the monitor in the room is also important. Ideally, you should place your monitor to the side of the window. This way, the incidence of light is not disturbing to the eyes.

‍Distance to monitor
‍The
optimum distance between monitor and eyes varies depending on monitor size. The following guide values are available:

-> 15 inch: min. 50 cm

-> 19 inch: min. 70 cm

-> 24 inch: min. 80-100 cm
