Circuit training is often used in sports groups and is also popular for training in the gym. Several stations are set up in a circle, at each of which a different exercise is performed.
But why is this type of training so popular?
There are a few reasons for this:
-> all large muscle groups and thus the whole body are trained
-> the one muscle group can recover, while at the same time the body remains in motion and other muscles are trained
-> Strength, endurance, mobility and coordination are improved
-> you can train alone or in a group
-> one does not necessarily need devices, but can include them
-> in a short time the body is loaded to the maximum
-> the training is varied
-> it is suitable for beginners and advanced users, because the exercises can be adapted or built up individually.
