Electrical muscle stimulation is a stimulation current therapy. Weakened muscles are stimulated by weak alternating current with low frequency. It is mainly used after longer periods of immobilization.

Ultrasound therapy is a branch of physical therapy or electrotherapy. It helps relieve pain and supports the body's own self-healing process.
